Eric Salazar

West Region – Los Angeles, CA

Eric played his college golf at Princeton University where he majored in Religion, graduating in 2011. He joined the College Golf Fellowship staff as an intern spring of 2013 and was hired as a full-time staff member August 2014. He now lives near Los Angeles, CA covering the West Region.

While in college, Eric experienced a crisis of faith which eventually led him to walk away from his relationship with God. God used staff members from College Golf Fellowship to help Eric breakdown his doubts about the reliability of the Bible and the deity of Jesus. Shortly after turning pro in 2011, Eric renewed his relationship with Jesus Christ.

After playing professional golf for a year and a half, including a summer on the Canadian Tour, Eric began looking for jobs in the tech industry. While job searching, he was asked to consider joining CGF as an intern and felt God’s call to vocational ministry. This call has been continually confirmed through his time with CGF and in spring 2015, Eric began pursuing a Masters of Divinity in Evangelism and Discipleship through Talbot Seminary. Eric and his beautiful wife, Becky, were married at the end of 2015.
