College Golf Fellowship is a 501(c)3 non-profit, faith-based ministry supported entirely by tax-deductible contributions. Need and Purpose
Why a ministry to college golfers? There are almost 20,000 young men playing college golf in the United States each year. Numerous ministries exist to reach out to college athletes, but college golfers are a bit of a different breed because they play a sport that is purely off-campus and a bit different than the others in terms of schedule. As a result, college golfers are a demographic that is difficult to get face-time with unless you pursue them on their turf – the golf course. CGF exists and is structured to purposefully build relationships with college golfers on the golf course, at tournaments and on campuses, with the goal of sharing the gospel and discipling these young men during their collegiate careers and beyond.
