One Question Interview

Here’s the next installment of our current one-question interview, where we asked the guys “What’s the best advice you got as a new college golfer?”

Travis Woolf

We caught up with Travis and asked him this question. Here’s what he said:

travisThe best advice that I received as a college golfer was from my coach at TCU, Bill Montigel.

He told me constantly, “Focus on your first tee shot, and go from there.”

It was very simple advice, but advice that helped me succeed at many levels. It really taught me that, although it is good and wise to plan for the future and what is ahead, to effectively execute your future plan you must focus only on the shot that is right in front of you. Just with anything in life, to be effective on that moment you must be present in that moment.
