“He who walks in the way that is blameless shall minister to me…” – Psalm 101:6

There are a lot of people who want to speak into our lives… and most of them think very highly of their own opinions. So whose thoughts will we trust?

Lots of folks are smooth talkers. Lots of folks are impressive communicators. The Bible has its own opinion on who we should give an ear to – the person who daily exhibits integrity in living and has a life worth modeling. Many can spout off lofty words, but a man who walks blamelessly has put lofty ideals into practice even in the ordinary, unnoticed moments. This doesn’t mean that you coldly ignore people, but just that you are selective about who you invite into your inner chamber.

Proverbs 22:17 says, “Incline your ear, and hear the words of the wise…”

Let us be a people who give an ear to wisdom, and who are diligent to seek out those who actually have “wisdom” to offer.
